Did you know there's a beautiful island resort with a long golden beach and gorgeous wooden chalets built over the sea just over 2 hours by boat from Singapore?
Would you love to relax on this beach gently swinging in a shaded hammock as you read that book you've been dying to get to for months?
Or perhaps just gaze out to sea letting your eyes rest on the horizon.
Or chat with new friends. Or catch up with an old buddy you come along with.
There's nothing like doing Yoga as the sun rises and then sets over the ocean. Imagine listening to the waves gently lapping under you as you're guided through the best Savasana of your life.
This is a Yoga holiday where as soon as you step off the boat you'll disconnect from the stress of everyday life. You'll have all the time you need to unplug and recharge. Literally. There's no wifi.
And it doesn't matter what level of Yoga you are at.
Complete beginners and more advance Yoginis and Yogis are all welcomed and well taken care of.

"I thoroughly enjoyed Sarah's yoga holiday. It had just the right balance of amazing, personalised yoga classes and a fun, relaxing holiday. I felt that I got stronger and more informed in my yoga in the time away, relaxed a lot, and made some wonderful, new friends. Everyone was very friendly, the food was great and the resort is lovely. I thought the lack of air-con would bother me but it wasn't an issue. The chalets are really nice and comfortable. The beach is stunning and there's lots to do at the resort. I enjoyed swimming and relaxing in the hammocks. Sarah was so good at getting the fun going as well. I wouldn't hesitate to join the next one. I was sad to have to leave!"

The great thing about this Yoga holiday is that there isn't just amazing Yoga on offer twice a day.
If you would like to spend some time doing some more active pursuits the resort offers plenty of beach and ball games, fishing and host of other activities.
Or you can just relax all day on the beach.
And at night, lie on the sand under the huge canopy of stars, counting shooting stars.
Or join the nightly beach bonfire where you can toast marshmallows as the waves lap the beach with their gentle reassuring rhythm.
There are no cars on Sugi island so the air is clean and fresh and noise comes only from nature. There's just the sound of waves, the odd jumping fish, birds and a wooden gong to announce the next meal.
I have been to the Telunas Beach resort in Indonesia many times with my family and with Yoga students we all love it!
This is an Eco friendly, simple, back to nature resort built with natural materials and love.
This place has a special place in my heart.
I've always felt very at home here and felt that the natural rhythms of nature come back to me so easily on this magical island.
The rhythm of the tides, the huge night skies full of stars and being outside all day in sea air sets the stage beautifully to truly unplugging from the stress of city life.
"I had a wonderful time at Sarah’s retreat at Telunas. Sarah created such a warm, supportive and fun atmosphere, and her yoga classes were thoughtful and inspiring. The resort was beautiful and perfect for a break away from everything."
Emma Kirby, Yogini at our May 2018 retreat
All chalets are generous in size, bright and breezy, have a double bed and a choice of 2 single beds. All chalets comfortably fit 4. Standard accomadation will be 2 to a chalet however we're also opening up 3 deluxe villas for people who'd prefer a chalet to themselves.
Everyone is invited to join (Yoginis and Yogis alike) and if you're traveling solo I'll happily match you up with someone you'll get along with if you're not bringing a friend.
All meals are buffet style and are a lovingly prepared blend of local and international dishes.
There's lots of fresh fruit, veggies with a good balance of deserts and treats!
I'm an experienced, fully trained Yoga teacher E-RYT500 and have been teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga full time since 2007.
I began Yoga as a teenager and have been in love with it's art and science ever since.
I draw on my years of experience to teach you how to do Yoga poses with good safe alignment that fits your unique body.
I use all the tools I have gathered over decades of practicing and teaching Yoga, living in 5 countries and bringing up my own special and unique children to bring you not just the physical benefits of Yoga but also to build more resilience and serenity into your life.
In this retreat our twice daily Yoga classes will be a healthy mix of focus and hard work to warmth, lightness and humour.
Every morning you'll be lead through either a align Vinyasa flow sequence or a Hatha class. And every early evening a slower, more relaxed Hatha or Yin Yoga class.
So you'll receive 6 two hour Yoga classes from Thursday early evening to early Sunday morning.
There's an extra large chalet over the sea, so we'll have plenty of space and shade and the sound of waves to lull you into a blissful Savasana.
As well as Hatha Yoga, slow flow and Yin I'll also guide you through visualisations and some lovely meditations.
We'll also incorporate some fun and self-empowering philosophical learning and workshop work in these longer than usual classes.
They'll also be a sea, earth and nature Goddess to inspire us along the way!
